Don't for a moment consider bypassing Tokyo DisneySea. It is a wonderful park, extending the magical Disney experience. Quite different from Disneyland, but great, if not better. Some wonderful rides. Some rides were closed for renovations when we visited in May 2012, so try to check which rides will be closed before you visit. The following were closed May 2012.... More

I just finished my first visit to Disney Tokyo Sea. While the Magic Kingdom is very similar in other parts of Asia, Sea is unique to Tokyo, so our family chose it for our Disney Day while in Japan. Sea has what you expect from a Disney property. It is very clean, safe, and a constant assault on the senses.... More

My husband and I are big Disney fans so we knew that we had to go. Since we only had 1 free day we chose Disney Sea. The reason we chose Disney Sea was that we had read that it is unique to Tokyo. Of course, the fact that they also had the Tower of Terror had something to do... More

This theme park is fantastic and definitely worth a visit, but considering it's meant to be more for the grown ups, there aren't that many adult rides - although there are still heaps of kiddies rides. I arrived at 10am and by 2pm I'd comfortably done it all. Make sure you get fast passes, they are great and help you... More

Disneysea, by distinction of being the only one in the world deserves a visit. It combines the childhood friendliness of Disney with some foreboding vibes more suitable for older children. Mixing and matching various settings (Indiana Jones, Sinbad, Tower of Terror) together create a very surreal experience. It is quite similar to the setup at Universal Studios Singapore and less... We were here April 29-30/2012. Had a wonderful time. Great park. It's like Disney meets Vegas. We spent the 1st day at Disneyland and 2 here. A lot of fun, and very very busy. Try to avoid the weekends as the line ups are way too long. We will definitely go back next time we are in Tokyo. Much more... More

A whole new experience. Like the details, like the way Japanese run the park. Like the extraordinary atmosphere.

We went to the park in a rainy day and be able to watch all the shows and ride many rides. Come back in a sunny day and every places are over-crowded, long queu everywhere. The shows there are just amazing, in my opinion they are better than shows in Florida's Disney theme parks. Duffy is admired here by people,... More

An amazing park with rides you may have seen before (Tower of Terror) and many you won't (Journey to the centre of the Earth. Make an effort to go to the shows as they don't sound like much in the brochures, but are just amazing (Mystic Rhythms was a standout!)
