Didn't explore the whole park but did spend some time with the kids at the playground. The peddle boats are nice and relaxing and kids love to steer.

This park has an entrance fee of 190 yen but it is well worth it. Very Japan, beautiful, crisp. We really enjoyed our stroll.

When visting the ruins of Fukuoka Castle take a nice stroll in Ohori park around the lake. A beautiful park especially during cherry blossom time. There is a nice Starbucks where you can sit and enjoy a cup and watch the scenery

We took a stroll around to Ohori Park and sat in the Starbucks for about an hour, having a chat over a coffee and watching the fitness enthusiasts running around. It's a great place to sit outside if the weather is decent. I would really like to visit the art museum in the park next time I'm in Fukuoka

A great park which is easy to miss. A walk around or over the bridge to the little island is a must, look out for the giant fish lurking in the lake!

I fell in love with the park when I saw the blossom of sakura and plum. Additionally, the location of the park is very cozy. The public transportation is very convenient though parking is very expensive.

This park is the biggest park in Fukuoka, but it's just park except spring. In spring, you can see very beautiful cherry blossom in this park. If you visit Fukuoka in spring, you should go this park!!!

Ohori Park is a beautiful park surrounding a large lake. It is an excellent place for astroll or a picnic. There are convenience stores nearby. There is also a restaurant in the park. To get here take the subway to Ohori-koen stop. Within the park grounds there is a Japanese garden with an entry fee, there is an Art Museum... More
