The foot baths are within walking distance from the Sakurajima Ferry Terminal, as long as you follow the signs to the visitor center, you can find it.
There are rows of foot baths w/ wooden benches that overlook the ocean towards Kagoshima City, and the park where the foot baths are located has an excellent view of Mount Sakurajima, which...

The Foot Bath is a long foot spa fed by volcanically heated waters with seating and some shade. It's a great place to sit down and soak your tired feet in hot water - especially after walking the lava trail. The view is pleasant, either of the harbour or mountain, depending on which way you face.
