If you are going to visit Okinawa, you have to visit Shuri Castle. Lots of walking, some dangerous areas (wet slick stones), needs more interactive events. They do have a very small tea room with typical sweets and tea. but no mention of a tea ceremony..., They do have people dressed up in period costume but they act more like...

Shuri Castle was a nice photogenic spot with an antiquated theatre performance, castle gate and the main building as Naha's iconic image. A worthwhile (and conveninent) visit. This is probably the highlight of my visit to Naha and the only worthwhile attraction the city offers.do try to walk around the area to explore the neighborhood.
Great place to get an understanding about Okinawa's history between the local Okinawians and China back in the 15th century.
Shuri Castle makes for a fun and interesting day that I would recommend to anyone. So far, I have been there three times, everytime with family members including my one year old daughter. Here are a few points from my perspective:
