Perhaps in ten years, Danga Bay will be good! Now however it is a wasteland. The older section near the marina is tatty and dated and the newer section near Tune hotel is largely unoccupied. The area between looks like re-claimed land on which construction is happening.

We were searching for a place to chill out in Johor, and Danga Bay came up in Google and tripadvisor. So we fired up our GPS and headed to DB. We were there past midnight. Very relaxing. But the foods there are very pricey. Not worth it. And the taste us bad

No shops nearby. View are great at the deck. Able to view Singapore Island, but under the hot sun. restaurants and cafes at the surrounding area are over-priced and tastes awful.

Many events happening especially during weekends and lots of JB folks like to hang out here...but too crowded lah

There's a theme park for kids but it wasn't operational until the night comes. Hardly any beach front to walk about... no wind, very hot and just lots of people doing nothing... poorly maintained. No worth to stay nearby or to go there...What a complete waste.

The only restaurant worth trying is Lazio's. Skip the rest. The spectacle is watching all the brides come here with their photographers. They pose with our boats as their background. Many boats are for sale here if you want a new lifestyle that we happen to love.
