The falls area was easy to get to in our hired car. The climb to the top of the falls was hot and sweaty (even though we started out quite early) but the pools at the top were worth it. The water was flowing well after recent rains and created little whirlpools which were fun to sit in. Only downside... More

Ok, gear up and flex those muscles, because you will want to conquer those steps to enjoy the views at the top of the waterfall! Prepare for a sweat but it will be all worth it when you cool off in the waters awaiting you. After about 100 steps, you can take the easy way out and detour to the... More

This place has to be seen in its entirety in order for you to appreciate the majesty of nature. So give it a bit of a push and to all the way to the top of the falls. Those hundreds of steps are worth the effort. At the top, make sure that you don't leave ANY of your possessions unattended.... More

The steady climb up to the falls was pleasant, there being many steps but with seats and shaded areas situated at convenient intervals. A warning the monkeys along the route and at the falls can be agressive. On reaching the falls there was a distinct lack of water and it made it less of a pleasurable experience, though the views... Its a long hike up the steps to the falls however it's well worth it to take a swim and see the view. The view from the bottom is also worth going to see and I'd imagine in higher rain fall seasons it'd be excellent.

We visited just after a spell of rain which thankfully made it worth while as if it hadn't rained I'm not sure that there would have been much to see as it had been quite dry. The falls are free to visit and the pools at the end are lovely to swim in. There is also a rain forest walk... More

To get to the waterfall, you need to climb at least 30 minutes up the steps. Along the way will be monkeys trying to take any plastic bags or plastic bottles you are carrying. So keep it zipped up in your bag. Alternatively, you may purchase a slingshot at one of the shops down there. Just by holding the slingshot,... More
