an another view of langkawi, though view is a bit different from cable car ride. need to travel a long distance no shelter, no food, no restroom, . just a view point. if you have time and weather is good then it is recommended otherwise avoid it.

Trip from the bottom of the mountain to the top will take you about 15 to 20 minutes by car. You can expect to see some monkeys and cows along the road so just take care not to cause roadkill.

Rent a car or grab a taxi and drive up to the highest point on Langkawi for some wonderful views. On a clear day you can see right out to Thailand.

It's cool and the view from top are great! You pay 10RM for entrance fee if you want to get to the top and you'll get a cup of coffee or tea with it. Its quiet and tranquil there.. The thousand stairs are not worth it tho, it's better to drive up!
