Visited Green Connection 3 times. The last time was a Big disappointment. It was a week ago, the place was very run down, not taken care of. We were the only visitors, it was about 3.30pm. Many exhibits were closed for maintenance. There WERE many cheerful and friendly staff during my last visit about a year ago. But not anymore.... More

Out in the blue. Thanks to 2 wonderful locals I got their, they gave me a ride. The entrance fee is... More

This place has definitely gone downhill. It was good when I was here in early 2010 with lots of friendly staff and good exhibits. It is now just rundown. There were no staff with any knowlege and many of the tanks were empty.

The species are a good representation of the diversity of Borneo, the aquarium is not really as large as the ones in the region, but they are working on a tight budget, so it is worth a visit.

Your children -if they are travelling with you- might enjoy this place. Otherwise, its not worth the trip. It was a dissappointment from an adult viewpoint.

Not in the most immaculate condition but features a small collection of snakes, turtles, stingrays and a few sharks. You can pet some of the turtles and fish. Try to get there during the feeding times of 11:30am and 4pm. The people who work there are really into their job, one of them was cool enough to guide me around.... More
