The fort was empty during our visit. There was nothing much we can see there except the walls and the roof. Agreed with figx, the museum is empty. The sampan (boat) dropped me on a platform (not the jetty) and told me the shortcut to the museum. I walked through the muddy fields to reach the museum (5 mins). I don’t see any exhibit in the museum, after walking around the fort. I only spent 15 mins there, taking photos around... more
The past two trips i made to Fort Magherita, the museum was totally empty. The only attraction was the boat ride across the river from Waterfront to get to the museum, which lasted about 5 minutes. Im not sure what happened to the exhibits, but I suggest going to the other museums in the city eg Sarawak Museum, Chinese Museum,... more
