Its one of the oldest temples in Kuching. Very crowded during new year eves and other special occasions. I'd prefer to go when its less crowded. Theres too much smoke for me to breathe if its crowded.

This and the other temples around Kuching are lovely to look at and seem to be in good condition. Bright and colourful.

The carvings of gods are superb. . It's a favourite spot for locals to worship and the site is very well maintained. I didn't like the uncovered drains outside, which are dangerous.

We are lucky to witness the Tua Pek Kong birthday celebration held every 60 years. From our understanding, starting 3 years ago, the relevant authority had approved to hold the procession every 3 years. The starting point is at the Tua Pek Kong temple at 7pm and ends around 11pm. Young and old all gather around the temple to watch... More

The temple is small and nice. Staffs inside are polite. When inside, feels like you are in ancient china city surrounded by dragons and gods. Free of charge is the best of all

Strategically located at the city center, one street away from the waterfront. The temple is well maintained.
