We just a round there last weekend and understand that it's been raining a lot in recent days so many of the holes were quite soggy. There are some temporary greens too which is quite hard to putt.

If you stay near by hotel and like to ply golf, it will be fine. course not in perfect standard.

I played this course 2 years ago and again just recently. Unfortunately, the more recent experience was during some heavy rains and cousre improvements (4 temp greens). It's still a very nice design of average challenge. The wetness caused much frustrations with nice drives down the middle being plugged in the fairway and sometimes not findable. A 45 minute drive by car from Kuching takes you to Damai GCC. If you are staying at the one of the three beach resorts then it's only minutes away.
