Learn how to prepare local food in the most hygienic surroundings imagineable. Anna is a fun person to meet who travelled around quite a bit. Sue & everybody is fantastic and very warm. We loved the whole experience and hope to be back someday soon. Everything is according to highest standards.. all thumbs up!

After a great cooking class in Thailand we decided to give LaZat Malaysian Cooking Class a go. We loved their website, attention to detail and just friendly demeanor from our first email to Ana. The cooking options are plentiful and the prices are worth every cent. They even offer to pick you up in KL for a small fee. We... More

I've taken to cooking classes when traveling, and LaZat is one of the best. I took the Malaysian Chinese class that included a trip to the wet market before the class. Saddiah, the instructor is a great teacher -- patient, but demanding. Also a very interesting person to talk with. She shared a few tips about cooking in general from... More

I did the Malay menu on this course. From the very start you are made to feel at home and Sue who teaches the course is a fun, entertaining and knowledgable lady. The venue is a little out of town but you can arrange for them to collect you from your hotel. The kitchen is well set out with individual... More

I loved this class. The experience from the first email contact with Ana was so pleasant. She was so accomodating! I arrived early for the Market tour and her staff gave me some tea. The market tour was great. So sad I didnt have my camera. My camera was dead but Ana allowed me to charge it using her laptop.... More

I took our 3 boys, aged 13, 9 and 6, to LaZat during our stay in Kuala Lumpur. All the LaZat team are smilie and helpful, they looked after us very well and the boys were able to do everything required. We were able to moderate the recipes to a degee, but in retrospect it would have been good to... More

Spent most of a day cooking, conversing with and learning from the warm and knowledgeable staff at this well equipped school.started the day with a market tour led by one of the instructors and went on to cook our way through a five dish meal. Fun way to learn about the culture as well as to spend time with like... More

I went to the market tour and cooking class on 10/02/2012 and we were led by Suddia. The market tour was interesting and the class afterwards was fantastic. The team were so well prepared with the set out ingredients, cookbooks and work stations. The food we made was DELICIOUS!! And the recipes are ones that you could do again at... More

We loved our day at La Zat, the women that run it are very friendly and make the learning fun. Booked by email and we requested a pick up from the hotel and glad we did as I'm not sure if we would have found it. It is all very slick and professional and the food we had was very... More
