The Gnaoua festival is very fun and very crazy! It definitely make Essaouira a much livelier place. I think the impromptu musical demonstrations are more fun than even the official events :) Its just a fun place to be, good music, funny people, and lots of crazyness!

For the ones who love music and animation and specially the GNAWAS STYLE..it is fantastic. BUT YOU WILL FIND ESSAOUIRA WITH A HUGE QUANTITY OF PEOLE DAY&& NIGHTS..
A part of it ,if you have a kind of cool retreat to escape from all the people there..it can be great as some artists from the all world are coming every...

Essaouira has the vibe for music festivals ; music is heard in all streets corners , alongside the remparts during a sunset , on the beach promenade and homes . Great Music artists have at least created their music from the beautiful and trancing rhymes of the drums and 3 string instrustments of the maleems . Come and visit this...
