We have just had an exceptional trip to Namibia and can recommend it for independent travellers and families alike.We saw a fantastic variety and amount of animals in Etosha national park, we drove ourselves around which gave us freedom and solitude, yet it was so easy to get about on their excellent roads and the fact that all the road... more

I went from Windhoek to Swakopmunt on this train in June 2008. The Desert Express is a tourist train that travells through Namibia. It does many 'holidays' but one of its main routs is the one I took In June this year. My husband and I went from Windhoek to Swakopmunt on the train. This is an overnight trip. You... more
