I think it depends on how many ruins you have already seen in South Amercia or Peru. I found these to be dull and boring. Was this our last ruin? Is it time to go back to the states? The ruins are a pre Inka burial ground on the shores of Lake Umayo. It is possible to climb inside some of these funerary ruins and see the inside of these ancient tombs. The view of the lake from the plateau is great and makes for an enjoyable walk. The chullpas are really impressive in size and construction. more
