I love Unirii Square in the Summer, you have a lot of terraces and you see all kind of people , and when you look at the buildings you feel like going back in Time but in the good way!

It's lovely to just walk around the square... or go and sit at one of the cafe terrace and treat yourself to one of the best cafe in Timisoara. The architecture is lovely, and the views are gorgeous.

All the surrounding buildings were fully renovated, and also was the statue in the middle of the square. Nice restaurants and terraces around it. The dome also deserves a visit.

The statue in the centre comemorating the deaths of the people in the plague is eerily interesting. The buildings on all four sides of the square are well preserved and beautiful. I drink my coffe almoust every day here.These square is fuul of people every day.

Untill the end of the 18th century this was the main square of Timisoara so the oldest buildings , the oldest statue and pieces of the original pavement are still here.

from may to september there are a lot of open air caffes in the square. it's the best place to get out in the city during the day and evening

A nice surprise especially in summer with all the people and the bars.
