I loved my tour of the Kremlin. It was amazing to actually see and stand at all of the sites I have read so much about in history books. It really is a beautiful site to see and can't be missed!! more

I just want to agree with the other readers that visiting the Kremlin is a very trying experience. We arrived at Revolutionary Square by metro and walked around the Alexander Gardens to the Kremlin ticket office. There were no queues there, but nevertheless we encountered our first problem. We also wanted to visit the Armoury, which has only 4 admission... more

Unfortunately, the Kremlin employees do not speak much English; however, it is not difficult to buy tickets. Once inside the Kremlin, the sights are amazing! The armoury museum and some of the chuches prohibit backpacks, so be sure to check your bags down the stairs from the main entrance (40 rubles). The armoury museum is definitely worth while. It is... more

Yes, there was a queue and the officals were not too friendly but aren't there queues at most famous sites? About a twenty minute wait but worth it. The Kremlin was not how I imagined, so much more peaceful and with such impressive buildings. An interesting place to walk around and despite not being religious in the slightest, the churches... more

We arrived at the Kremlin early in an attempt to beat the queues, but found that there was already huge queues outside. But still managed to buy a couple of tickets easily enough and joined the queue. When we were almost at the gate with the metal detectors a very brusque woman came over and told us we needed to... more

Although I highly recommend visiting the Kremlin for the historical value, be aware that a visit to the Kremlin will be marked with long lines, inefficiency, and mass confusion. First of all, tickets must be purchased to enter the Kremlin area. If you are interested in seeing the State Armoury, which I am sure is fascinating, there are separate tickets... more

The Kremlin can be reached by busses 2, 44 and 16. It is close to Metro Station Ploshchad Revolyutski and inside Red Square. When you enter Red Square, you will see probably see two men, one dressed as Lenin, one as Stalin, who will let you take their photo with you for a few rubles. To their left is a... more

First off, the attractions within the Kremlin walls are highly interesting and pretty BUT after arranging and paying for advance tickets they still make you wait for many hours outside in the open regardless of the weather in order to get to their metal detector-gates which are manned by blank faced, slow moving soldiers who definitely are in no hurry... more
