The Moscow State University is huge is size and looks terrific from the outside as it is one of Moscow's seven sisters as they are called. I went there to study Russian and for an internship. From outside the building is magnificent but the inside is really minimalistic and not been renovated for years. Also there dormitories are really small... More

We came from the University metro station all the way to the Moscova river walking. It is a good 45 minutes walk but worth it, as the Staline's monument of the University is really impressive.

It looks great. Even during the winter on sunny day the place lifts your spirit. During sumer don't miss botanic garden: http://botsad.msu.ru/eng_news.htm

Some way from the city centre. City tours usually stop here, from where you have a beautiful view over the city.

The University itself is very beautiful, especially for the evening when lighting is on. But for me the best place is the square on the Moscow river side.
