beautiful, serene and a special place to visit. I think many monasteries are worth a visit in Moscow, and this is one on the top of the list

I was taken here by friends, nothing in the guide book and clearly very few foreigners go here. Its peaceful gardens resonate to the bells and the shuffling of people in and out of the main church.
