Big statue on the square dedicated to fallen soldiers. I think every visitor has their photo taken here. A great view of it can be had looking back down Okeansky prospect with the sea in the background

The monument to the communist "heroes" put there in the 60s, so that crowds of people walking past - to carry out acts of prikloneniya before "glorious punitive" under the communists, who were like gods.
