This village is incredible. Just picture houses, churches, etc. that look like if they had been made with wooden legos or so. The landscape is fantastic. We went there during a cruise, so I have no clue how is it to get there on your own, but I would highly recommend it! It's like being in a fairy tale!
Kizhi is difficult to get to. Which is a shame, as it gives a wonderful picture of past life in Russia that one does not see in any of the existing cities. We visited while on a river cruise.
