The best display of a palace amidst a cascade of enormous fountains. This is another building to depict the time of Peter the Great. It is lush grounds with large flower beds, all designed by master landscapers that captured our vision. Each garden has a name anywhere from Venus to Baccus. This site is about 30 - 45 mins by... This was one of our favorite stops on our whirlwind tour of St. Petersburg. We visited the outside gardens and fountains. The gardens is a huge, park like setting. We were fortunate to visit on a clear blue day. You can walk through the gardens to the water and take a hydrofoil straight to the Hermitage/Winter Palace

We were fortunate to visit on the 1st day of the fountains for this year. The grounds of the Palace are beautiful and the fountains unlike any I have seen anywhere else. Fountains are trees, ducks, dragons ... everything imagineable. Beautiful, peaceful setting.

We were in St Peter during four days of clear skies and sun and the experience of visiting the gardens is one of a kind. Be sure to arrive before 11:00 o clock to see the fountains with music
