I think this is the number two must-see in Xi'an after the Terracotta Warriors. The mausoleum is huge, especially when you realize that only a small portion of the whole site has been excavated. The underground museum is very well done. You walk on a glass walkway built above the excavation site. It's unlike any other tombs I've visited anywhere... more

A very well done museum which has great displays and 3D film. Super for children and adults. Glass walkways allow visitors to walk above shallow pits of buried treasures, all well lit and quite stunning. Museum is modern, clean and items are very well presented. Great parking, decent toilets and snacks/icecreams are available. As usual museum shop is horribly overpriced... more
