A great way to learn about the history and culture associaated with one of China's most famous products. The exhibit are well laid out and nicely presented - in both Chinese and English (amazingly clear - no Chinglish here!). Best of all, admission is free.

It is a small place with only 1 theme. If you are interested to learn about the production of silk, this is a good place to go. No tourist trap for you to spend your money buying. I would suggest this before heading out to shop for silk in Hangzhou. It gives you a real insight and appreciation for silk production. There is no charge and the exibits are endless. It's also in English!!!!
