A very lovely place for shelter against any disaster and very clean place with way to walk to the connecting station at this dome.....

It is the finish and start for the Sapporo Ski marathon and as such very practical. Ho hassle to get there, 100 meters to the start. For ordinary cross country skier the tracks start from there and there are lots of them!
Sapporo dome is the biggest dome in Hokkaido built in 2001 in Tyohira-ku.
Baseball and soccer games are mainly held there.
It had become head quarters of CONSADOLE SAPPORO, the local soccer team.
But…It became head quarter of Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters, the local baseball team, in 2004.
There are no such domes in the world as are the head quarters...

Go and see a Japanese Baseball game at the dome during your visit. Even if you are presently not a baseball fan you will have fun. It is more of a carnival atmosphere what a sports event.
