Umeda Sky is a building to see. With its two futuristic towers rising above the city and connecting escalators suspended above the open space between them, it is an experience. Only problem is getting to it. A major walk from the nearest subway station via a tunnel under the railway system, and then it's a bit of a maze to... More

It was lovely to experience how big Osaka really is which the sky building clearly covers. Affordable and lovely coffee shop. Puzzled about "floating garden observatory" would indicate their is a garden? which we didn't see except for the excellent vege garden on the ground floor. Thanks

Okay okay its not the highest building in Osaka or in Japan for that matter but it still offers great views and enterment as vertigo sufferers like me scream all the way to the top on the absolutely scary escalator

It is by far the best place to get a view of the city, plus it is open air, which can only make your photos even more impressive. The night view is amazing. The glass elevators and escalator are not for the faint of heart, but are very cool. Do NOT go on or around any major public holiday- I... More

Among the numerous high rise attractions in Osaka, which include the Tsutenkaku Tower and Tampozan Ferris Wheel, the 173m tall Umeda Sky Building stands out being the most impressive. I would recommend visiting it during the night as come dusk, the entire observation floor of the Floating Garden Observatory will be filled with countless glowing stars under the ray of... More

From the top of the sky deck, you can see all of Osaka, and a good deal of the outskirts. It was the day before White Day, and it was snowing lightly when we reached the top, which made it all the more beautiful.

I paid almost nothing to stroll to the Umeda Sky Building - Floating Garden, named amongst top 10 observatory decks on earth. It was because my 2,700 yen Osaka Pass includes this must-go in addition to other 26 fantastic attractions and free metro ride within 2 days. The very journey from ground floor to the 173m open sky observatory is... More

We reached there at 9pm, still open and many people. Weather was really cold then, but the view of Osaka is amazing! Good experience
