We loved this place. A very unique building in the sense of its style and access to amazing 360 degree views looking out to shin Osaka and Osaka. Although I would not like to be on the escalators when a decent earthquake hit. Well worth visiting, also the other near by attractions below ground level in the same vicinity. more

The Sky Building has obviously been built with the tourist in mind. There is a lovely observation deck at the top accessed by a glass elevator and glass escalators that are effectively outside the building so you get quite a few chances to see Osaka from the air. With a title of Floating Garden Observatory, we expected a garden -- trees, fowers, etc. It is a place to walk around and see Osaka. When I asked the guard where the trees and flowers were he and his buddy laughed very hard. The view was great, but it wasn't what we expected. more
