You've simply got to see this place. There are crowds like you wouldn't believe in this covered shopping arcade. Tons of stores- mostly clothing, food, and jewelry- line this multi-block district. This is the shopping belt of downtown Osaka (near Namba). This is just average to me because the prices ae not that low. However, this is near Dotonbori which is an interesting place to find Japanese snacks. The malls are worth a visit though not to shop.
