This is a truly good museum, with well-executed, interesting exhibits concerning the history of interaction between Japan and foreign traders, especially those from Portugal, the Netherlands, and the United States. If you are an English speaker, be sure to take advantage of the excellent audio guide. And don't rush through here! This museum deserves a focussed, leisurely, thoughtful visit. more
