Silk parios make wonderful gifts. Expensive but beautiful and so Malaysian. Easier to pack and lighter to carry than pewter.

An interesting stop as part of our tour. We were able to see how the designs are made into the various fabrics. They also demonstrated how the many different patterns are created in sarongs and other clothing, using a stamp-like contraption. Much to buy there, such as different types of men's and women's clothing, as well as jewelery.
