This place is easily accessible by train, bus and taxi... Since it is an air conditioned enclosure, you will not feel exhausted after the shopping.. The prices are reasonable for some items. Many of the shops sell items from elsewhere in Asia and with less selection but it does capture the local flavor and is worth a visit.

Central Market is fantastic for souvenirs, selling a variety of goods such as traditional clothes, trinkets, wooden carvings, batik, bags, tshirts. This was a nicely set out market area. It was more about souvenir than a bustling market. Its worth the look

If you are looking for things that are Asian in KL, this is a great place to visit. Haggle with the stall holders to get a reasonable price.
