First visit to this park was back in the mid-80's when I was a kid. All I remember is this huge map of the Philippines sunk in smelly water. I prefer the southern end of this park because it is more serene, despite being close to busy Roxas Boulevard. Although it was steamy on my last visit in October 2008, the park was still very green - evidence of Manila's 4000 plus ml. of annual rainfall. more
