The flagship campus of the University of the Philippines system situated in Diliman, Quezon City. We went around to feel the fresher atmosphere while we were somewhere close to this area and see the famous iconic landmarks of the Campus. The Oblation and the Carillon which are products of National Artists like Guillermo Tolentino for the Oblation and Juan Nakpil... More

Along the main entry of University of the Philippines-Diliman leading to the Oblation, cheerful sunflowers lined the wide boulevard in March. What a sight! In congested Manila, it was a happy surprise and an added bonus to the tree-lined Academic Oval (half of the road was reserved for joggers/walkers). I could feel my lungs clearing up already:) Got to be... More

We took a quick drive around the campus with family. Don't expect the manicured lawns and neo-Colonial architecture of American universities-- the style here shares much with the rest of Manila. Stop at the souvenir shop for t-shirts you won't find elsewhere.

My husband and I always visit the University of the Philippines (U.P.) for some birdwatching. U.P. is one of the few places in Quezon city with trees and birds in flight. Depending on the month, one can find the blue rock thrush, yellow wagtail, coppersmith barbet and the narcissus flycather in special areas. U.P. is also a favorite place for... More

New buildings are being built in various vacant lots...need rehabilitation on buildings and establishments without jeopardizing existing tenants due to excessive rental fees.

My favourite university -- not least of which because I am an alumna. XD While it's still working on wheelchair accessibility (yay), safety (mm-hmm) and bureaucratic red tape especially where funding is concerned (nay), it's still as beautiful, as vibrant and as frenetic as ever. I do miss the times when college students would take the jeeps to get around... More

Another way to spend your weekend with less cost...just go to U.P. Diliman with your family or friends. They have big spaces where you can have picnic, play outdoor games, and take pictures. U.P. Diliman is also a famous for jogging. I think every weekend, they close I certain part around the U.P. Oblation for the joggers and bikers. During... More

The Philippines primary university. So large it offers a lot of things for students and plain visitors alike. It's a "one whole park" itself just near the Quezon City hall and the Quezon Memorial Circle.
