Cool place, also literally. Does not look cultivated at all. Nice to escape the dust from the city for picknicking, swimming or bbq. Also good for bird watching. Takes about 1.5hr (P500) from Makati.

I remember riding my bike some 15 kilometers on a weekend with my friends to get to this place. It was awesome then, unspoiled but unmanaged too. Now the Ecopark has bike paths, hiking trails, picnic grounds and parking far away from the quiet surroundings. Please visit the EcoPark if you are from Quezon City.

it was just ok to walk in the park, see the flowers, the pond, the pool ( haven't swam in it), rest in one of the cottages, have an ice cream ...nothing much to offer...

La Mesa Eco Park is a mini forest in the middle of the metropolis. Just a ten minute drive from Quezon City's Elliptical road, one can explore the forests and find birds not commonly found such as the ashy ground trush, the red bellied pita and the Philippine tailor bird. Some friends have seen the hooded pita and the pechorra... More

Here I find the govt's efforts to inject to the people the importance of preserving our environment and make it a green world. I think they can try to make this a more major project, so maybe the country will have more conscience to preserve our natural resources.

The park is ideal for lazying around, with its big trees and wide gardens, There were a few who were having picnics and one magazine who were doing fashion shots with a model using the wonderful expanse as backdrop. Great for relaxation
