We visited there after seeing the Julius column which is like a block away. It is much smaller than Kotecape Camii. It is nice to go there to have a feeling of history. Other than that, no much to see really.

it is in old Ankara and easy to reach. one of the religious figures of Turkey also rests in peace just close to this complex: Hacı Bayram Veli. the municipality has restorated here and continue to restorate the vicinity.
I wandered over here from Gençlik Parkı late Friday afternoon at the end of March. On the way from Ulus Square you can take a detour through a plaza containing some local government buildings, in the middle of which is the Column of Julian, which commemorates the Emperor's visit to the Roman city of Ancyra in the fourth century BC....

In contrast to Istanbul, Ankara does not have a lot of good old mosques. Haci Bayram Mosque is the only place in Ankara very Religious people can say that they "could get the spirit of true Islam".
