If you are interested in mosques, it maybe attractive for you but its neither a historical place, nor attraction. Its the biggest mosque in Ankara. You may watch a funeral ceremony at lunch time outside, if interesting for you. You can also go inside, provided that you take off your shoes and ladies half cover their heads, w/o short shorts... I visited there in a sunny day. The Camii looks impressively beautiful under the pure blue sky. Inside the Camii, the wall painting are artistic and delicate.

this mosque is a good example of traditional Turkish-Islamic architecture and one of the biggest in Turkey. I think a visit should be paid. it is also very close to the city-center.

This was the first mosque I've ever entered and I was really impresed. Either look it from outside or from inside you have feeling that you are in front of (inside) very important building. It's very quite inside and lightnings are beautiful. Definitely everyone in Ankara should visit this mosque.
