This is a great zoo for little guys under 5 (good for older too!). You can see the whole zoo in just a couple of hours and there are seldom big crowds. Lots of new exhibits and a great selection of animals. Quite a beautiful zoo! And the jellyfish exhibit is amazing! more

Although not too large, the Akron Zoo is perfect if you have less than three hours or want to get really close to the animals. Akron Zoo has made huge expansions to the park in the last year or two. While you can still probably view the whole park in 3 hours or so, they have taken great care to make it visitor-friendly as well as animal-friendly.
