The check-in house is a shabby shack with dirty bathroom. Seems they could invest in a nicer clubhouse but the golf course was one of the best I've ever played. There's no real restaurant or bar facility so don't plan on having a fun "19th hole" experience after the round.

One of my husband's favorite places to play golf. All golf courses at Barton Creek have magnificant views to enjoy.

In any other location, this would be the best course around. But to our group of twenty, the Fazio Canyons course at Barton Creek came in second to the Fazio Foothills course at the same resort.

The way this course cuts through the Hill Country is something to see. Very nice that the homes, what few you can see, are not right on top of the fairways. Particularly like the club house after the 18th. Watch out for the 17th green if the pin is on the left.
