Coming from a 'desert' land it was simply amazing to see such a beautiful (Zilker) Park! There were so many options for families with different age groups. Smaller children can play in the playgrounds while teenagers can take a dip in the Spring. When we visited mid-May, the swimming pool was under renovation so it was closed. However we were... More

After a bike ride we went straight dive into the pool, The water was nice and cool... Semi crowded but no too bad. It's $3/adult. I would highly recommend this for a fun family outing. The concession stands are right outside.

Barton Springs was not expensive to get in, but you may still choose the free side to swim in if you want any other comfort allowed. No food, alcohol or pets, but the plus side to the paid side is that they have side walks, grassy areas, life guards, dressing rooms and diving boards. ALSO, they have late night swimming... More

Barton Springs is 68F year-round. It's spring-fed, and has a natural bottom, weeds, fish, and ducks. There are no lanes; this is a true swimming hole. Admission is $4, free before 9AM & after 9PM. On a hot day, it's great place to cool off, then lie in the sun & watch the action off the diving board. The changing... More

I loved coming here, as a first timer! Took me a while to find it bc there wasn't much signs telling you where to go. But once I got there, parking was challenging bc they do get full. I did have to park towards the back. Walked up the gravel road towards the entrance. Very shaded & there are some... More
