It can be a bit tricky to find Mount Bonnell, but on a nice day the view is great! The walk from the parking lot to the overlook is less than 1/4 mile, and at the top you can walk left to look at downtown Austin, or walk right to get some very nice views up the river. Either way... more

MB is easy to access,not too manysteps to the top, GREAT views of town lake and downtown in the near distance (if that makes sense) soak up the feelings of grandur as you view the surroundings, its hard to believe your in Texas. more
