We decided to try the Segway tour of Austin and loved it. I don't consider myself athletic and often don't participate in the adventurous parts of life, but this was super easy and fun. Staff was polite and great tour guides. Highly recommend.

My brother, mom and myself went and it was a blast!! Our teacher and guide, Ryan, was very charming and funny and made the entire experience worth it. As a local, I was a bit wary of this, but tried it out and became a huge fan. We'll be back!!
This was the coolest thing I did on my recent weekend trip to Austin. I am so glad I did it. It is so easy to learn to ride a segway. The tour guides are awesome. Don't miss this!
First time 60 year old Segway riders mastered it in 2 minutes. Zipped around the downtown area in a group of 5 hearing about Texas history and current life from a great guide. (Thanks, Elizabeth!). A great way to begin our visit to Austin. Highly recommend!
There are several Segway touring companies in Austin, and they all seem to get pretty good ratings. I've gone on two tours with Segway Nation, and have been very happy with both of them. I like that they offer tours of varying length at different times of the day, so I can choose a tour that matches the interests and...

I was a bit nervous about this, but we got super lucky with this tour on a Saturday. The training we got was great, and the guides were super nice. I think the perfect day to do this is a weekend, as the capitol was empty and we could cruise along more freely here.
I had so much fun, but...

Had so much fun in San Antonio, had to try it in Austin. Elizabeth was a wonderful guide. She was very patient with non-American guests who didn't understand the rules or guidelines. She was very knowledgeable and it was sooo much fun. Price was right..will do it again and again.
We started near the capitol and toured around the grounds with photo op in front, then we headed downtown to the Congress St bridge, LadyBird Lake, 6th street, warehouse district
2nd street area, convention center, the Driskill Hotel and back for time to visit the inside of the Capitol. Approx 2 + hours. Recommend wearing gloves in the cooler weather....

Segway Nation did a great tour of Austin...it was our first time riding Segways and now my wife wants to get one! Our guide was very nice and knowledgable...it's definitely a fun way to see a new town. Highly recommend Segway Nation.
This place was great! They teach you how to ride the segway first, and allow you to get comfortable before y'all leave for the tour. I live in Austin, and this was a really great way to see the sights of the city, and feel like a tourist in my hometown. Our guide was enthusiastic, entertaining, and friendly. He also...
