After reading reviews, I was excited to book a bike tour while we were in Austin. I used the contact section of their website to request a tour a week before our trip. I didn't ever receive a reply. I understand that sometimes emails fall through the cracks so I contacted Austin Bike Tours again and yet again...no one ever... More

Sorry we missed your call. We try to return everyone's inquiries as quickly as possible. Our tours were booked full that weekend and we must have not gotten back with you to let you know. Please try again next time your're in town. More

We booked a tour for Jan 7th through their online system two weeks prior to arriving in Austin...even received an email the day before reminding us of our booking. Tried phoning to confirm being picked up at our hotel...phone message said mail box was full. no response to an email from me. Decided to walk to their 6th street address...nothing... More

We were closed for the month of January and our online reservation system accidentally took this reservation. A refund was given as soon as we returned to the office and noticed the error. We apologize profusely for the confusion. More

Last summer my wife, 12 year old daughter and I had the great pleasure of spending an evening riding bikes around Austin with Travis. The three hour trip turned into four, with Travis going out of his way to personalize the trip for us. We saw bats, parks, cool buildings...heard quirky stories...took a night-time swim in Barton Springs. Travis should... More

I rented a bike for two weeks in October. It was all too easy - Keith dropped the bike to me in Westgate and then picked it up from Travis Heights. No problem with the bike and I was cycling about 20 - 20 kms per day. The bike came with lights, lock and a helmet.

We rented two mountain bikes for the entire day on Saturday in Austin. We didn't have the schedule to go on a tour, but instead made our own. Overall it was a great experience...here are a few comments about Austin Bike Tours and Rentals: It took a few phone calls during the week to reserve a spot for Saturday. I... More

From the moment I made the reservation to the time Keith dropped me off at a fantastic Korean BBQ burrito food truck he recommended, it was a delight. The service was ideal for locals and out of towners. Picked up at my downtown hotel - precisely on time - and shuttled to the starting point. An informative, fun and relaxing... More

Austin Bike Tours and Rentals is a great way to see several attractions in Austin. You get to see Barton Springs Pool, Lady Bird Lake, and the Congress Bridge Bats in one trip. Good dining by Barton Springs pool as well Whole Foods 1st location which is like 20 restaurants in one. Tour host was super cool.

We didn't take the city tour with this group, but we did reserve and rent two bikes for the day. The attendant who was looking after the bikes in the morning was very helpful. I had to change one of my reservations from a road bike to a cruiser and they helped us with open arms. The bikes we received... More

We had a great trip with Travis.--a local who grew up in Austin. He was very knowledgeable of Austin, its history, and its culture. We got to see the Lady Bird park, play disc golf, visit the bats, and so much more. It was a great three hours and well worth the money. This was the second bike tour we... More

Travis showed our small group a side of Austin I would never have experienced without him as a guide. We were able to bike from Duncan Park (BMX) to Zilker Park to the Congress bridge to see the bats all without encountering a car. We rode along Town Lake, Lance Armstrong bikeway, over the lake on a beautiful pedestrian bridge... More
