Very average with bit price. It is supposed to be a 5 stars Hotel, so the cafe/ restaurant on the main level should be according to the hotel, well... not. The coffee was average, and the croissants HORRIBLE looked like the ones from HEB or worst. Very disappointing

A great hotel, restaurant, bar and location. The eggs benedict are the best I've tasted. Love having drinks at the bar and listening to live music.

The historical Driskill takes you back in time, when the power brokers of Texas held court in the bar and threw parties in the ball rooms. A very very historical hotel, beautifully restored, in the heart of Austin. A must visit spot, on your way to or from 6th Street.

We had cocktails in their very charming bar on Mothers Day. Our waitress was exceptional and the cocktails were excellent and moderately priced.

The nicest hotel in Austin. Spectacular service rooms are even better right in the heart of Austin. Walk to restaurants and the capitol which is a must see. The bakery was the best for deserts and breakfast did not try lunch. Eat outside or in. Great atmosphere and they make you feel right at home.

Did not stay at The Driskill but hung out in the lobby and enjoyed the people and the views. It is a must-see in Austin.

I love old buildings made into hotels, and I love old hotels redone. This one is very fine. Like all hotels of a certain age, you can see that at least part of it was made before elevators; only so many floors that one will walk up. There are elevators now. The halls are labyrinthine, and I defy you to... More

Although the Driskill is a little pricey, it is worth it! This hotel is beautiful and it's location is great. Wonderful place to stay or eat for a special occasion.
