This is a uniquely designed memorial in Arlington comprised of three skyscraper like needles bending in three different directions depicting jet planes rising into the sky. The U.S. Navy facility next door calls them "french fries".

For a tourist on foot this is a very hard memorial to get to but well worth the effort. This memorial with this stricking three pronged leaves reaching into the sky can be seen for miles. The memorial sits on top of a small hill but has been badly isolated by the surrounding roads and is a good walk from... More

The spires are quite unusual, but as you look closely at the Memorial it may remind you of the Thunderbirds!

The three soaring arcs of the Air Force Memorial are a fitting tribute to our youngest service, though I cannot figure why it's on the Navy Annex. The view from its base is no more impressive than seeing it in the distance, and it's immediate vicinity isn't special. Unless you're going to the Pentagon, view it from across the river,... More

Nice view of the DC area from this memorial. Never really too busy and is easy to find, normally. Just follow the signs

This is the newest memorial, which can be seen from Washington DC. It offers great views of the Pentagon and worth the visit to pay tribute to the United States Air Force.

This Air Force Memorial is depicting a famous flight formation of three planes vertically flying into the sky... Interesting close up or at a distance, it reminds us of the Air Force power and service to protect America... Can be reached by Army-Navy Drive near the Pentagon...
