Museu Théo Brandão, Avenida da Paz 1490 on the beachfront in Centro, features folklore artifacts and information. The museum is under the Universidade Federal de Alagoas (Federal University of Alagoas) and is above average for the emerging museums of Brazil's Northeast region.
