Beautiful beach and nice food! Very friendly restaurant attendants! If you can spend more time Go to Praia do Gunga (Gunga's beach) The Most beautiful beach I've ever seen!!! You can walk in the ocean and appreciate the exotic fishes and the coral reef up close!!!

First impressions were bad. We initially spent a long time looking for a place to sit as there are so many different sound systems (bars & 'vende-CD' guys) blaring our different music, it's hard not to be caught sitting in between 4 or 5 different ones and hearing all simultaneously.
Once you get over the noise and trash everyone throws...

That beach is wonderful!! It is a must-seen attraction in Maceio. Go to the beach in the early morning, because the traffic is terrible to get there.

trash everywhere coming and going with the waves. Too many people and not much sand area. Beach restaurants one after the other. It may have been good in the past, now it has become a area spoiled by tourists. It took us hours to arrive there because of the traffic.
