Ilha is the best beach we have. The island has a nice vibe...you can only walk, the cell phones usually dont work. So it´s great to relax. The cost is a little high but there´re many options of hostels and restaurants. Always carry a repelent it´s usefull.

My friend took me there. I had no expectations. I fell in love with Ilha do Mel. You can walk the whole island around. No traffic, no 5 stars hotels, just the nature! The best place on Parana's coast!

Loved the trip to and from and while on the isle. Peaceful place. May be buggy, so bring repellant.

I would suggest going during the week in the off season because it will be just you and the local surfers. It is a beautiful island with a lot of beautiful beaches, great walks and friendly locals. If you don't like bugs I would make sure you bring insect repellent.

Very nice island, good food, nice beaches. There are no cars allowed our on the island and you need to carry your luggage on your own to your hotel (no paved ways!).
There are some nice restaurant with good food (seafood) and the people there are very nice.
One night the electricity went off and we had an amazing view...

One of the coolest islands inthe world... No vehicles, just peace, nature, sand and sea! NOT TO BE MISSED!

The island atmosphere is awesome - there are no cars, at night you need to carry a flashlight, there are nice bars, good restaurants and a lot of Inns. The beaches are nice (you can see your feet under the water) and there are a lot of places to go.

An inland near the coast (20 minutes by boat),at the entrance of a huge bay, NO CARS OR MOTOS, honest little Inns, nice and simple local people. Beache with white sands, surfing.
