This place is ugly (see photo in previous review) and has a poor collection of worn artifacts. It smelled musty the day I was there. Inside it was dark. It is hard to find in a large park. The concierge at the Copacabana Palace Hotel said I "must go there" (heavy emphasis.) I wasn't sure if she was punishing me... more

Museum is in a tiny, unattractive building. Approaching it, I thought it was an outside public toilet in the park. Not much inside; no tutti-frutti hats. However, there are some great shoes -- look at the height of those platforms! Several mannequins in Miranda's costumes get the point across that Carmen was quite diminutive.
