This is not a flea market and thus there are no "finds." Standard tourist items at regular prices plus a few items not found easily. The advantage is that it is all in one spot so you can get your t-shirt, necklace, ear rings, carving, etc, all in one place. I guess when to get to 55th it is hard... more
Went to the hippie fair in December 2005. We found mostly what you'd expect : medium to low-quality merchandise aimed at tourists. On the positive side, prices were very reasonable, and all mechants were willing to give you a bargain. We bought many souvenirs for friends and family, and fairly-priced art pieces for ourselves.
