As one of the newer parks in São Paulo, Parque Villa-Lobos still has a while before it becomes a mature, shady gem like Parque do Ibirapuera. Still, with ample green space and the lively Villa Ambiental (Environmental Village) educational play space for kids, there's plenty for everyone in the family to enjoy. Bike rentals, jogging trails and coconut water vendors are but a few of the park's amenities. And it's sure to be less crowded than Ibirapuera any day.

This is a clean park, but not really a destination. It has some soccer fields, a bike path and some flower gardens and a few benches to rest your legs or have a snack. Safety isn't an issue as it's regularly patrolled by SP police. There is currently demoltion work going on the west side of the park, so the...
