Stop for awhile when at Avenida Paulista where tht MASP is located to admire the beauty of this building designed by Lina Bo Bardi, it holds one of the largest art collection in the southern atmosphere! If you 'll visit it during lunch time, just enjoy a buffet lunch in the museum's restaurant!
Although MASP seems to have a smaller collection when compared with other european museuns, we must remember the artworks are constantly being changed, so the turn-over is great, each time you will visit a new museum. One of the best points of Sao Paulo! First the building is very unique (specially if you are an engineer - you will love it), the collection is amazing, the event they hold are very well done! And it is at one of the avenues that best shows sao paulo style of life!
Cool museum in Paulista Avenue with important collections of impressionists. But the exposition is small.
I made 3 trips to the museum to try and take it all in - not because of the size but because of the quality of the exhibitions. It wastoo much to take in in one trip! Van Gogh, Monet, Bosch, Rembrant... and many more. The Rome exhibition was also something to behold.
I saw the last exphosition over Rome and its emperors. Although not the best exphosition I've seen there, it was very good, I recommend. The building itself is a landmark, quite impressive.
Once inside time flies by, you cam admire and get lost into some of the art works in there... well, I usually get. Time from time especial exhibitions worth the price!
It´s amazing place.A great surprise for me.Very organized, with a lot of art and very good place to go when you have some time in São Paulo
